Belated birthday dinner with Bie

Had a really satisfying dinner with Bie last night at Daorae Korean BBQ Restarant, Seremban 2. The last time I had Korean dinner as nice as this was at Perth. The side dishes were up to standards, barbequed pork ribs and chicken were finely marinated, and the Galbitang was delectable too!

Thank you Bie for a wonderful dinner. We went home with big bellies and happy faces. My suggestion is that if you want to be able to try different types of dishes, come with more people. And with a big appetite.
Oh and something worth mentioning, they had Girls Generation's album playing all night long!

Dinner @ Chingooya; Supper @ Riverbank Cafe

Had Korean food at Chingooya Korean Restaurant, Batu Pahat two nights ago. It was supposed to be my belated birthday celebration as suggested by Beng, but I did not want to be the awkward limelight of the night, especially not already 4 days passed my birthday. So we went out for a casual dinner instead, with Joanne as well.

The last time I had Korean food in BP was already 2 years ago.

Growing crowd after 7pm

It was ramen, mushrooms, chicken, Korean ricecakes, and vegetables on the hot pan; grilled mackerel on the right, and  small portions of side dishes.

I always have a penchant for spicy food, therefore kimchi, gochujang, and whatever korean hot sauce do not bother me. I even asked the waiter for extra hot sauce! The grilled mackerel and side dishes was worth a 4 star rating, but the hot pan was not to my liking, the main reason was because of the overrated price for ramen. Omg one small piece of ramen, exactly the size of a typical instant noodle costs RM 6. Ouch.

Dinner is always incomplete without desserts. Heh! So to the Riverbank Cafe we went. 

I like the calm, relaxing atmosphere. There was even a notice at the entrance that read " Make no noise. Enjoy."

21st Birthday

Today is my 21st birthday. It marks the official beginning of adulthood. Not a great one obviously, no fancy cakes no parties no free flow of cocktails but these are not what matters.  I realized birthdays are eye openers,  you get to know who remembers your big day and who doesn't give a damn. Sometimes I am afraid of birthdays. Because I'm scared that people I care forgets about it.

Donut tell me I'm already 21!

I almost had to countdown to my birthday alone last night,  till Wen, Gan and Sean suggested that we hang out at the DIY Playground.  It was a simple celebration, we had donuts and we chatted, we laughed. Luckily these three eggs are willing to spend the night with me.

I missed my family and Bie.  I felt devastated for not being able to celebrate with them.  Been together for three years but we never get to celebrate valentines, anniversaries and birthdays. No not even this year.

So...  21 years has passed by in a cursory glance, cheers to that!

Electronic & Soldering Examination RBT 3073

The battle is finally over! Had been struggling with my last minute revisions on this subject : RBT 3073 Electric and Electronic Technology. It was quite challenging to me because ever since junior high year 2, where I did an electronic project for evaluation, I have never set hands on stuffs like this.

Waited anxiously for the exam to start.

Takenoko 竹の香

Bie and I were discussing over the toughest question on earth : 'What's for dinner?', and we decided to google for restaurants in Seremban.  
He found Takenoko 竹の香 Japanese Restaurant on Trip Advisor and we thought why not?

I forgot to take a shot of the restaurant so I had to google for it.

We ordered their Salmon bento and Tempura Udon, which was so good that we couldn't stop complimenting with every munch. 

If you noticed the mochi in the bento, it was actually chocolate fudge mochi! It was a satisfying dinner that night, thumbs up!
