November 2015

Sunday, 29 November 2015
在家接近兩個星期了。很感恩天天都有媽媽的愛心飯吃,不像在學院每天都在煩惱吃什麼。
Twinkle Boy

Midori
Had Nasi Lemak Sotong King with friends last night. Damn the sotong was really a king. With the first bite I knew I jeopardized my afternoon workout.

Midori
Su Rong gave me a can of fruit drops. I thought they were just ordinary fruit candies but I was wrong. They are HIGHLY ADDICTIVE.

Midori
Birthday dinner @ Aoki Tei. I still drool at the thought of their Sashimi and Cheesy baked mussels. Ok I swear I just heard my tummy rumbling.

WISHLIST : MIDORI TRAVELER'S NOTEBOOK, VINTAGE RUBBER STAMPS, AND WASHI TAPES.  :( I'm lacking of all these.

In the bus heading to TBS. Gonna spend a few days with Bie before coming back again for B.I.G closing ceremony.
Guess what ? Shyt I forgot to bring my treasure box where I stored rubber stamps, stickers and tapes ! Haih why. T.T

Anyway this was written two days ago. Joined Road Relay and with sweat and tears, we managed to bring home a silver medal.

Listening to Allan Taylor's "Some Dreams".

By the way, hi. Is this you reading this right now?

My Very Own Hobonichi Journal

Monday, 21 September 2015
I've been starting to write every night since last year, trying to make it a mandatory ritual before sleep besides goodnight prayers.
But ever since I came across super cute Hobonichi photo entries by a random Instagrammer, I've decided to also make my ink-and-paper-only diary entries a little more interesting.
The essentials I need are labels, rubber stamps, a bit of watercoloring, stickers, washi tapes, and other blahs.

Here are my virgin attempts!:

YES I am still alive!

Sunday, 9 August 2015
HELLO to all you readers out there. Haven't been blogging for more than two months because I am getting used to writing in my private diary every night. I Write and include almost everything in my diary - movie tickets, entry passes, receipts, little notes, and even coffee bags! Of course, these little things must mean something to me and it seems like the only way to preserve the memories is by feeding them to my diary.

Anyway, I have been teaching in SJKC Chi Ming 2 for two weeks now. My weekdays routine be like: waking up before Mr Sun at 5.15am, get my morning ablutions done, light breakfast(milk with toasted oats mostly), off to school, fingers on my keyboard an eyes on my laptop screen till it is my time to teach, leave school at noon, lunch at Mindy's, homework, workouts, dinner at Mindy's, homework, sleep. And then the cycle repeats itself over and over again till weekend. (Roll eyes)
But I am really grateful for the good Samaritans over here, the teachers who generously shared food with me, my roommate who cut my hair, and Mindy's family who provided us with care and joy.
Life is good. God is good. Thank you, Lord.

The only thought that made me cringe each time it runs through my mind, is that I won't be able to see Bie every week, not anymore, and each passing day just make me miss him even more.

BUNG JAGOI - A Hiking Adventure

Thursday, 11 June 2015
Haven't been updating my blog for months! Have been feeling really lazy, but our hiking adventure (not my first, but definitely one of the best) two days ago was really worth blogging about.

Bung Jagoi , located in Jagoi ( a hilly area of Bau) is a sandstone hill which measures to about 360 meters high.  There used to a Bidayuh village near to the summit of Bung Jagoi, but as the population grew and the need for more agriculture land increased, many families moved down to the surrounding foothills.

We started our hike at 930am.

It started raining cats and dogs, luckily we found shelter along the way.

The summit!

Village at the peak.

It was good hike, but I find it not challenging enough. Looking forward to another hiking adventure (hopefully) soon!

Haji Shariff Cendol @ Seremban

Saturday, 7 February 2015
Cendol is one of Malaysian's favorite heat slayer. Thanks to Malaysia’s year-round tropical climate, every day is made just for a bowl of heavenly cendol. The best cendol should have thin, delicate flakes of shaved ice on top of fresh and fragrant coconut milk, the pivotal touch of sweet palm sugar syrup and of course, a generous serving of cendol itself!

One of the best cendol I've tried so far is located at the heart of Seremban- Haji Shariff Cendol.
Haji Shariff’s Cendol is here since 1930’s; used to serve bowls of cendol from the cendol cart and it is now expanded into shop. They even have a new branch located near Mydin mall.

I think my photo's exposure value has been set too high. Dang.

But trust me, it is too good to be true. It’s showered in fresh, thick coconut milk and piled with sweet palm sugar syrup on top; they join forces to tantalize your taste buds with an irresistibly rich, and sweet aroma.

Aside from cendol, they also have Indian Rojak, which was good too. And cheap!

Forever packed with cendol lovers.

Self service.

cendol
This is Rojak Mee. Apportioned with  fat yellow noodles, hardboiled egg, fried bean curd, fried dough fritters, shredded cucumber and sengkuang and finally deluged with sweet and thick spicy peanut sauce.

I personally have a weakness for their fried dough fritters. Okay I am hungry right now.

Behind the scenes.
So, why the wait?
