Angie Liew

Thursday, 8 January 2015
As you can see, this post is specially dedicated to my best friend, Angie Liew. Why the sudden impetuosity? Because she did something touching when we hang out just now.  Hah, let the story begin. In our lives, we come across many people. We see new faces every day. Many of them remain anonymous, some may be acquaintances and some become our friends. Friends come and go throughout our lives and each friendship is a unique relationship. Angie is my best friend since high school. But the friendship has gone through many ups and downs, but I am glad we still get along so well, even my mom loved her.

We had hard times. We did not see eye to eye, we were competitive in class, we often let jealousy engulf our friendship, and we had altercations. But we always find a way back to each other. I remember there was once when we fought so bad that we did not talk to one another for almost a week.  And when we finally reconcile, we hugged each other in tears.

We had good times too. We studied at the library together almost everyday after school. I slept over at her place and we cooked together (well just instant noodles and eggs haha). We cried together. We shared secrets.  We shared dresses. We made fun of one another. We shared passwords. We can look at one another for like half a second and laugh like mad, for no reason at all. Ah, most of all, we share the same love language - touchy. Nobody can actually comprehend our friendship, because our bond is beyond words.

When she was driving just now, she passed me her phone to reply text messages to her boyfriend, even gave me her phone password. I mean, you got to be reallllly comfortable with a person to entrust them your personal stuffs, right? To me, this friendship is genuine. It is pure and true. No we do not get to see each other that often anymore, (we are in a long distance relationship lol) but I sincerely hope our friendship lasts an eternity.

Love you Gie.
